Autistic artist Stephen Wiltshire took a twenty-minute helicopter ride over Manhattan. Then he sketched the entire skyline from memory. The amazing thing is EVERY building was correct and drawn to scale! Wow!

This dark haired girl with the big eyes uses collage, found objects, painting and word poems to create her dreamy pieces. Elise was featured in WLWL & even Frankie Magazine has a bit of a crush. Although I have never met her-- she is a kindred friend who loved sparkles and laughter. I can't wait to meet her one day. XO

I've always admired Dear Creatures, an independent label that mixes nostalgia with femininity.

They are still working on an online store, so I was lucky enough to find a beautiful dress by DC when we were honeymooning in San Francisco!

The concept for their Autumn 2009 collection is all about the outdoors. Drawing inspiration from camping & recreational activities, 1960s Girl Scout images and tee pees. The result is magical: whimsical dresses & pretty silhouettes! Scouts honor.
